David Culp
Director/Editor
     Recognized for his award-winning television commercials and educational films, David has been in the film industry for over 20 years. Prior to founding Culp Productions, David was director and general manager of Kaye-Smith Productions. His other experience includes sound editor, cameraman and animator. David has been an instructor with the University of Washington Film & Video Certificate Program for 14 years and received his B.F.A. from the University of Iowa. David has been in the film industry for over 20 years in Seattle and San Francisco.

April Wren
Executive Producer
     April has been with Culp Productions for over seven years. Her positions have included line producer, production manager and business manager. Prior to joining Culp Productions, April was sales administration manager for Paramount Picture’s television division and assistant to Francis Ford Coppola for his film version of Bram Stoker’s Dracula. April attended the University of Washington and the University of Madrid, where she majored in Spanish and French linguistics.

Matthew Grau
Writer
     The newest member of the production team, Matthew has been a professional writer for over a decade. During his career, he has worked with such prominent licenses as Frank Herbert’s Dune and the Marvel Comics universe. Originally, Matthew received his Marketing B.S.B. from the University of Minnesota’s Carlson School of Management. He later went on to study under David Culp in the University of Washington’s Film and Video Program – it wasn’t long after that his professional film relationship with David began. In his spare time, Matthew is also an independent filmmaker, making short films of his own design.
